👋 Introduction
The Stellar Leap Company ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Rebourne Android application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using Rebourne, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
📋 Information We Collect
Rebourne collects the minimum information necessary to operate its features:
- Google Account (optional): If you sign in with Google, we receive an OAuth access token that lets the App read your Google Photos library and Google Calendar events. We store this token locally on your device only. We do not transmit it to our servers.
- Location (optional): If you enable the weather feature with "Use Device Location", the App requests your approximate or precise location to fetch local weather. Location data is sent directly to the weather API provider and is not stored or logged by us.
- Photos & Media (optional): If you use the Photo Frame feature with local photos, the App reads images from your device gallery. Photos are displayed in-app only and are never uploaded or transmitted anywhere.
- Camera (optional): The Baby Monitor feature streams video from IP cameras you configure. The App connects directly to the camera URLs you provide. We do not store, record, or process camera footage.
- Advertising data: The App uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data per Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalised ads in your device's Google Settings.
- Crash and diagnostic data: We may collect anonymised crash reports through the Expo / React Native error handling infrastructure to improve stability. No personally identifiable information is included in these reports.
🔒 How We Use Your Information
- To display your Google Photos in the Photo Frame slideshow.
- To show your Google Calendar events on the Calendar Clock screen.
- To fetch and display local weather information.
- To stream video from IP cameras you configure in Baby Monitor mode.
- To show relevant advertisements via Google AdMob.
- To improve App stability using anonymised diagnostic data.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Rebourne integrates with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Google Sign-In & APIs – policies.google.com/privacy
- Google AdMob – support.google.com/admob
- Open-Meteo (weather) – open-meteo.com/en/terms
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services.
💾 Data Storage & Retention
All App settings and preferences are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. We do not operate backend servers that store your personal data. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.
OAuth tokens for Google are stored locally on your device and can be revoked at any time by signing out within the App or by visiting myaccount.google.com/permissions.
👶 Children's Privacy
Rebourne is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
🌍 Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
🔄 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.

📄 Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Rebourne Android application provided by The Stellar Leap Company ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
📱 Description of the App
Rebourne is a smart display application designed to repurpose Android devices as home screen displays. It provides the following modes:
- Calendar Clock – Full-screen clock with weather and Google Calendar events.
- Photo Frame – Slideshow from local storage, Google Photos, or a network URL.
- Kitchen Timer – Multiple labelled countdown timers with notifications.
- Baby Monitor – Live IP camera streaming with motion detection alerts.
✅ Licence to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Rebourne on Android devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Distribute, sell, sublicense, or rent the App to any third party.
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices in the App.
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
👤 User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Camera URLs: Ensuring that any IP camera URLs you configure belong to cameras you own or have authorisation to access. Unauthorised surveillance is illegal and strictly prohibited.
- Google Account: Keeping your Google credentials secure. We are not liable for unauthorised access to your Google account.
- Content: Any photos, media, or data you load into the App. You must have the necessary rights to use and display that content.
- Device security: Maintaining appropriate security on the device running Rebourne, particularly if it is accessible in a shared or public space.
📢 Advertisements
The App is free to use and supported by advertising through Google AdMob. Ads are displayed periodically within the Photo Frame screen and in the content carousel across screens. By using the App, you consent to the display of advertisements.
We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements. Ad targeting is governed by Google's advertising policies.
🔧 Third-Party Services
Rebourne integrates with third-party services including Google Photos, Google Calendar, Google AdMob, and weather providers. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.
⚠️ Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
In particular, we are not liable for any damage caused by IP camera streams you configure, including privacy violations resulting from improper camera placement or unauthorised camera access.
🔄 Updates & Changes to the App
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time without notice. We may release updates via the Google Play Store. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
🚫 Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your licence to use the App ceases immediately. You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
⚖️ Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms at this URL with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
